Medical check-up camps will be organized in the far flung areas of Gujarat. A Medical Mobile Van will be introduced in the adopted villages for health care. Super Special Surgery Camps will be conducted with the help of expert NRI Surgeons.

In order to provide interaction amongst the literary figures, artists VGS will conduct different activities such as publication, seminars, get-togethers of literary artists. To appraise the Gujarati Youth about the richness and the heritage of Gujarati language and literature, VGS will take up the publishing activity of the translated works of popular Gujarati novels, poems and other literary works.

To impart training in performing arts, folk dances, music, dance, drama, Ras-Garba for Gujarati Youths staying in Gujarat and abroad, VGS will organize work-shops, seminars and training camps.

VGS will fix up the dates and the venue of the Next World Conference to be organized between Dec-2007  & Feb-2008.

VGS proposes to set up Gujarati International Centers at Ahmedabad, Mumbai, and Delhi. These centers will serve the purpose of Residential Accommodation as well as provide facilities for auditorium to conduct cultural activities and meetings. The facility of library and catering will also be provided. The aforesaid three cities in India are selected in view of large number of Gujaratis arriving in these cities requiring residential accomodation, facility for providing special Gujarati dishes and celebrating social as well as family events.

Gujarat needs systematic scientific water management programs. VGS proposes to undertake large number of projects to solve the problem of water scarcity. Amongst such program awareness of rain water conservation in urban and rural areas will be taken up on priority basis. Other activities such as building check dams, digging village ponds and wells are under consideration.

In order to acquaint the Gujarati Youths settled in different countries with the valuable heritage of Gujarati culture, arts and crafts, traditions and architecture, VGS proposes to organize the students exchange in a big way. Students from different countries visiting Gujarat will have the facility for home-stay and interaction with Gujarati Youths staying in Gujarat Sight-seeing tours, cultural tours and study tours will be organized for the visitors.
