Vishwa Gujarati Samaj has organised three World Gujarati Conferences in the year 1989, 1996 and 1999 and as a part of Golden Jubilee year of Gujarat (Swarnim Gujarat), 4th World Gujarati Conference, 2010 is organised at Ahmedabad on Friday 22nd, Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th January 2010. The 3-day conference will commence with an inaugural function on the evening of Friday 22nd January, 2010 followed by a cultural programme.

It will be a unique platform for interaction of Gujaratis from different parts of the world and have a dialogue on various issues concerning Gujaratis and world community including social cultural heritage, traditions and language. The conference is expected to give boost to various developmental activities such as education, healthcare & sanitation, tourism, social awareness etc.
