Swirnm Gujarat Celebration by Vishwa Gujarati Samaj USA - By VP Naren Patel
written by Beena Patel, June 07, 2010
Dear President Vakharia:

Congratulations! You have appointed Mr. Naren Patel as VP USA and you have picked the right person as leader for USA. As I recall my memory, Kirit Patel, Firends of Gujarat was recognized for him celebrating Swirnim Gujarat on 6.12.10 and he has done nothing. At the same time, Mr. Naren Patel from Chicago has proved that he is a strong and able leader who keeps his word and promise.

Sincerely,

Beena Patel

Membership fee for individual member is very high
written by Dr. Kamlesh Chaudhary, August 22, 2010
Dear Sir/Madam,
I have seen the membership fee on website of VGS. i WANT TO BECOME THE member of Vishwa Gujarati Samaj but due to its high fee, I abstain from it. I request all the office bearer to please reduce the membership fee for individual member so that more and more person can join in this samaj and Samaj become more Vibrant. I believe that if Samaj has lacs of member than it become more and more stronger.

VGS means Vishesh Gujarati Sabha or Vishwa Gujarati Samaj
written by Dr. Kamlesh Chaudhary, August 22, 2010
Respected Sir/Madam,
I want to become member of Vishwa Gujarati Samaj. But looking at life membership fee, naturally in present era of "MONGHAWARI", I think it will always remain dream for persons from middle class. To me I believe, maximum intellectual persons are come under the group of middle income. Most of all teachers, lecturers, professors, researchers etc hails from middle income group. They have burden of home loan, children tuition fees, Insurance installment (In present situations all installments are in thousands), how they can afford to pay such a high membership fee?
Samaj has many good activities which are listed in its website among its one is that VGS bestows Honorary Membership to prominent Gujaratis. I think that if life membership fees is reduced to Rs. 3000/- than it greatly facilitate to many Gujaratis to become life member of VGS. Under such condition there is less chance to award Honorary Membership as prominent Gujaratis may already have been life member of VGS.
I think due to high membership fee, life member of VGS may not be more than 1000. Even some club have more life members than this SAMAJ.
As per my ambitious, To rightly called it as Samaj, strength of its life members must at least reach to one lac.Otherwise one may pronounced it as Vishesh Gujarati Sabha instead of Vishwa Gujarati Samaj.

Respected Sirs/Madam, above all are my personal views. I request all of you that please don't take it as officially because besides paying for Home Loan, Children Tution Fees, Life Insurance Installments etc Government Serviceman has to obey/follow many protocol too.

With Great Respect and Best of Luck to VGS,
